Default 18,000 Mile service

Hello everyone,

My XC60 is due it's first proper service this May and I wondered what to expect in terms of cost? I bought the car as a demo and unfortunately did not negotiate servicing in the deal (Doh!).

Everything is performing well so far so there are no real issues for them to deal with although I have not received any notice for the many recalls that I hear some of you talking about. Cars only done 7k and I will defo be enquiring re-oil type and filling level suggested.

Hi mine was in for its 2 yr service last October.
Although I've covered 24k, mine too is a demo and not subject to the free servicing.

The breakdown was as follows: £350 for the service and all the trimmings, they also advised on the brake fluid being changed - another £50. (Total=£400)

Then called to say the rear pads and disks were 95% worn - another £300 for that.
All in ripped off but complained about the rear brakes going so soon and got 50% back, (£150), and hoping to get the other 50% back in 5k miles when they are reviewed - I think its a fault with the car or the OEM pads/disks.
