Default 2.4t Brake Booster Vacuum Hose replacement?

Hi all,

Is it worth replacing the brake booster vacuum hose (the one which runs from the booster right around to the inlet manifold?)

Mine is quite hard and some of the connections are easily twistable/moveable. I have read that 3/8" rubber hose will work.

Ive replaced all other vacuum lines and have a very occasional idle stumble/shudder.

Has anyone done this?

Cheers

Thought id update this as I got bored and ended up tinkering again.

I didn't replace the hose but what I did realise is that despite having clamps on them in certain parts, a lot of the joints were loose and you could spin the hose on them. I replaced all the clamps from brake booster to inlet manifold with hose clamps.

Having driven the car the brakes feel better and throttle more urgent, so I think i have eliminated perhaps my final vacuum leak! Hopefully the car stays this way and my throttle lag/delay/clunky take up of drive wont comw back!

Worth doing for a handful of hose clamps and 30 mins or so of time!
