Default Volvo S40 Fault codes - Please Help!

Hello guys,

I have a 2005 Volvo S40 2.0D. I've had the cambelt/water pump replaced today and the garage did a fault codes reading which came back with a few pages!

I am hoping that someone on here can have a look and please advise what needs replacing ASAP and what can wait or just some help in general please.

Fault Codes:

Engine Electronics
DTC Description
0101 - Air Mass Meter
- Intermittent
- Faulty Signal

C301 - Faulty software checksum

0222 - acceleration pedal sensor, Intermittent, Signal too low.

0380 - glowplug relay, Permanent, Faulty signal

2135 - acceleration pedal sensor, intermittent, faulty signal

C104 - Communication between control units, intermittent, signal missing

1935 - brake light switch, intermittent, faulty signal

0490. – EGR system regulation, intermittent, signal too high

1412 - EGR System regulation, intermittent, faulty signal

Does it run ok? Some of the codes could historical codes that may not have been cleared from previous problems? Keep note of the codes,then clear them & see if they return. Also, some phantom codes can be thrown up if the car has had a flat battery or bad electrical connection at some time in the past?

You need to post in the S40/V50/C30/C70 forum as this deals with the classic S/V40 upto 2004.
