Rwyb day @ york raceway sat 4th july

I was at York rwyb the other week with the TVR club, took my cerbera down which was great fun. It was a very busy day so amount of runs was limited, but as mentioned earlier turn up early & stay late. I might join you guys, if you don't mind having an old amazon amongst your ranks!

That's a pretty cool tale indeed! As a Volvo purist, I've gotta point out that the redblock (especially in 16v guise) is just as capable as the YB, and a lot cheaper...but it's still a very cool car. Where the hell did you find the axle? I do indeed know the rally car you're talking about.

hi james....thanks for the comments.....from memory..the axle was from an old rally car that was stripped by a motor trader ( rally enthusiasts garage / yorkshire)...advert was in 'motoring news'.....it was a rare find indeed!....cost me £500 used....and thats what i got back for it!.....
on the engine front volvo v cossie....youre probably right.....but you can't convert the young 'uns.......in them days....only a cossie was king!!
