Default Volvo presented part of their roadmap until 2025

Saw this in 2 interesting articles.
The first one stated how the new naming conventions for new Volvos will work. They will continue their trend with B and T engines and added a P engine name to represent the full electrical vehicles. So now it's:

BEVs: Recharge P#
PHEVs: Recharge T#
HEVs: B#

# means the number of the version. For example, the top of the line all-electric XC40 is XC40 Recharge P8, while the plug-in hybrid is called XC40 Recharge T5 (T from Twin Engine). T no longer means gasoline engine.

Another article from here stated that we will have the following release plan:

-2019: XC40 Recharge Dual Motor
-2020: XC40 Recharge Single Motor
-2021: XC90 Recharge (the SPA-II platform set to underpin the new XC90 will be designed for full electrification. Volvo confirmed to us that an XC90 EV is happening)
-2022: XC100 Recharge (some speculation surrounding this model. Some say that it will be a coupé stile XC90, others say it will be an XC90 on size steroids, we will have to wait and see)
-2023: S90 Recharge and probably XC60
-2024: V90 Recharge and probably XC60
-2025: New XC40 Recharge

The XC40 Recharge is a pure BEV. Unless they plan to confuse the branding and use the name for Hybrids as well.

Have they confirmed whether they are going to continue with Polestar'ing their new B engines?

Also will the T8 variants ever geet the KERS system on the normal gasoline motor as well as the ERAD system?

Compared to this, Audi's stupid engine nomenclature seems as intuitive as it gets..

They are using the term recharge for all the plugin models, either if they are hybrid or pure electric.
You will be able to distinguish both of those options by the P and T nomenclature.
So the electric BEV that will debut next year will be called P4 or P5 and the plugin hybrid they just launched will be a T4 or T5.

They are using the "Tx Recharged" term to distinguish the models previous to 2019 that are gasoline only powered engines.

Such confused branding. Perhaps the government idea of green plates for BEVs makes sense after all.

Very curious about the Base Models Starting Price when all these ''changes'' occur...

It is all hearsay and speculation at the moment , Volvo never release this kind of information so early .

BEVs: Recharge P# -> confirmed information from Volvo
PHEVs: Recharge T#-> already being used in the T8 and T5 (xc40) models
HEVs: B# -> already being used on diesel and gasoline versions

-2019: XC40 Recharge Dual Motor -> already announced
-2020: XC40 Recharge Single Motor -> already announced
-2021: The SPA-II platform -> already announced
-2022: XC100 -> speculation
-2023: S90 -> speculation
-2024: V90 -> speculation
-2025: New XC40 Recharge -> speculation

Basically 40% of it is speculation.
