  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

bear with me.

Do all xc90's come with the AWD system as standard? About to buy a 2005/05 reg and just want to make sure it has the AWD system

im on the understanding xc is cross country.....but just google it if you can find what you need here......

I thought it was optional on the 2.5T?

All XC90 models leave the factory as 4WD.

No such thing as a "daft question" if we dont ask we dont learn.They all have AWD when they leave the factory but as we know it doesant always last long.

All uk xc90s are AWD. There is an issue of failing rear drive on older models. Some us models for example are fwd.

Thats where I heard it. 2.5T FWD in US.

..yep UK - only AWD available then - certainly 2005 MY's (if it's not broke !). I do believe it's only the XC60 that comes with a FWD option in the UK to help meet the CO2 challenges.

just now need to make sure the xc90 I buy has fully working awd as dont want to face a hefty bill a few months down the line.

There are a few FWD XC90's in the UK. I don't know how many though. I think they are all early models. Plus the new 2011 D3 FWD XC90
