I've compared XC60 MY19 Edition 2 and 3. Some very minor changes.....

All Pro models now get Puddle Lights (woo hoo!)

R-Design Pro, Inscription and Inscription Pro still have the Tailored Instrument Panel but now with Contrast Stitching.

Everything else looks exactly the same......

This latter form did have loads of figures on it about car price, options price etc, but as I'm buying through a PCH agreement, and I've done a deal based on a monthly cost, I crossed these out and quoted the PCH quote number I had agreed to.

It's hard to understand what actual deal you've managed to secure under a PCH quote, but I've been assured I secured a healthy discount off list, the monthly price is very competitive...and hence I've tuned myself out of these "other" figures.

I'm yet to sign an actual PCH finance contract but my dealer say's that will be done when the factory accepts the order and has a VIN number/build slot allocated to the vehicle (which can't happen until they start accepting MY19 orders!!). As it's PCH I have also not had to put down a single penny upfront.

This experience is different to my current XC60 that is also through PCH. That was dealt with through the dealers business arm (a PCH couldn't be done through the Retail arm, only PCP, and I think I was the first person they had had who took out a Personal Lease rather than a Business one through that route). The first thing I signed on that occasion was a finance contract based on the PCH quote. But in the intervening four years it looks like PCH has become a popular way to finance a car and this order has been done through the retail arm in the same way as if I'd wanted a PCP, or walked in with a large suitcase full of used notes!!

All in all it's been a very relaxed affair so far.....I just want the factory to accept the order so I can start to get really excited!!
Interestingly I just got sent the "Hire agreement regulated by the consumer credit act 1974" form which included the monthly payments, Advance hire payment and the terms and conditions.

I didn't pay anything until 2 weeks after I had the car - i.e. that is when they took the advance payment and the following month I started making payments by Direct debit. The agreement is with Santander Consumer (UK) Ltd trading as Volvo Car Finance.

There is no documentation to say what the price of the car is.

Has the Inscription (Non Pro) 'Pre' MY19 always had a tailored dash ? Must admit, I didn't think it did but I will be very pleased if my 18.5 has it when I collect in a couple of weeks

Unfortunately, I too don’t think it did. I am going by what is described in MY18.5 price list.

Rear seat integrated booster seats are back! Yay!

Now I’ll have to instigate a policy of getting the grand kids to change into clean white forensic suits and slippers, before stepping into my blond nappa leather interior.

Mine has got fully powered front seats with cooling.
I would have ordered the Inscription Pro, but I wanted the smaller wheels which were not an option on the pro, and there were a few other bits and pieces I didn't feel that I needed, so @ £48k. I thought I'd spent enough on a car.

Really wishing I’d stretched to the 360 instead of settling for the reverse camera only. I’m wondering if it’s just a software upgrade that can be added retrospectively. Any idea what sort of view you would get with a trailer in tow ?

Can't help with the towing question, but generally I think the 306 camera is the bees knees.
It makes parking a doddle, I get into alot tighter spaces than I would with out it.
I suspect that it's more than a software upgrade, because of the extra cameras involved. Front, rear and the camera in each mirror as I understand it.
