Yes, many other brands have removed the feature for European spec models, same with Honda and Mazda. Presumably their options were of the dangerous variety that didn't unlock in a crash. That wouldn't surprise me as when I was considering a Honda, the method to enable it was akin to turn the key to pos 1 then back to 0, unlock the doors 3 times, jump up and down 5 times and turn the key again.
Quite why in a 2018 car such a process is necessary I don't know, even a 2005 S40 has the setting in an easy to use menu, such daftness made me realised that Hondas were stupid.
