ok I'm doing an engine rebuild on my 98 v70r and I'm trying to find some forged pistons but google is being less then helpful. I know I can get custom built ones from scratch but their pricey. Has any one fitted any to their v70 and where did they find them

Hi, try Kalmar Union, they have Forged steel connecting rods, you could ask about sourcing forged pistons: http://kalmar-union.com/parts/volvo-...70_c70-engine/

Wiseco's are usually the choice for forged pistons in 850/x70 engines. At least here in The Netherlands they are

I've got a set of unused forged pistons (and rings) for the 850 which I'd consider selling. 81mm I think from memory.

TWR (not TRW) embossed on the back of them.
