I've no idea why autos and manuals are different, the manual just says:-

IMPORTANT
When replacing the starter battery, in cars with Start/Stop function, a battery of the correct type must be fitted, EFB in cars with manual gearbox and AGM in cars with automatic gearbox.
When replacing the support battery, a bat- tery of AGM type must be fitted.

EFB is Enhanced Flooded Battery which is just an improved version of a normal battery.

Hello

my V60 2014 shows sometimes "Low Battery Charge".
Do I need to replace the battery (AGM with start and stop) ?
Can I do by myself ? Is there something to do with VIDA (such as battery registration ) ? Do I need to go to the dealer ?

Thanks

Christophe

I replaced the AGM battery on my previous 2014 V60 D4 with start/stop and had no problem with codes or needing to reset anything.
When the car was written off I put the old battery back, again no faults or codes were registered before the car limped onto the transporter.
