Default Very Good 87 240 saloon to save - at scrap price

So the price of 2nd hand cars has gone up by 30%, not the case with mine. (BBC news) Way back on May 17 2009 I offered my excellent 1987 240saloon for sale

For sale £350 (Now down to £100) full history, every scrap of paper work, garage maintained regardless of cost, 1st owner bought on retirement, kept 12 years, did 39000 miles, 2nd owner, myself, had for last 10 years, have done 33000 miles, mot till 21/6/09, tax till 1/6/09, very good condition except for crack in windscreen and small hole just below rear window above drivers side boot hinge. Too good to scrap so it needs a caring home. Located near Junction 16 on M6

It has been SORN since June 1st 2009, only needs a windscreen and quick MOT to be back on the road.
Sad as it is the Scrap man calls in 14 days time so this is my last attempt at saving it First £100 takes it away

Thesad thing is that no-one will probably want this car, and even if they do it will more than likely be treated as cheap transport (car sold for less than the value of the current MOT and tax) and then when the next MOT or tax is due, will be scrapped anyway.

Shame, but thats the way it goes.
