I believe i charged julie about £200 for the actual tweeks i made all other costs were associated with parts.

Hope this helps.

I'm not entirely sure how people can claim that you have ruined your T5R. Surely making it faster and better at handling is only a good thing is it not?

Jealously is a terrible thing isn't it just...

(However, I am jealous too, I want your car, but I wouldn't insult it just cause I don't have it.)

just so everyone else doesnt have to search here is the page with julies mods:

http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...t=13956&page=5

really its seems the only hardware mods are the 18t and the exhaust, and if you decide to believe rica the 18t is no different to the 16t!

so then the only hardware mod seems to be the zorst!! - so thats very good.

but anyway my cars got 310bhp with just a chip!!!

My point is, that you'd have to drive a 700 series rather than 800 series.

Having driven both, I *vastly* (I cannot emphasise this enough) prefer the 800, the 700's i've driven were, in comparison, dogs to drive compared to the 850.

Cool

This is a lighthearted poke at anybody who drives an internal-combustion engine in which heat produced by the compression of air in the cylinder is used to ignite the fuel, who IMHO should *vastly* (I cannot emphasise this enough) very carefully consider what a dog is like to drive lol.

Being a newbie here I think I may have missed the point with this one, but I fail to see what the point of all this realtively expensive modding has been if just to achieve WHP figures only marginally better than standard?

Why make life hard for yourself and not just go for an ECU remap?

julie's car was 225bhp (240bhp with quick ecu controlled overboost) as std. now its 288bhp - thats a small increase???

Im not trying to stir things up as there is obviously alot more to this story than Im aware of, but I just want to know why go to the bother of changing turbos etc before doing a basic remap which would have netted similar if not more gain?

I thought a standard 240 BHP R should make around 210 WHP on the dyno?
