2006 S60 T5 Stage 1(Still possible if Automatic?)
Hi ,
I have my 2.4 T5 260BHP for the last 3 months and absolutely love it, cannot believe how fast it is for an automatic with everything running as should with 100K on the clock. I would love if somebody could shed some light as to whether a stage 1 remap would affect the reliability of the gearbox should i decide to go for one. I would be more than happy with a reliable 300bhp rather than overdoing it. Any Help much appreciated guys, thanks a mill |

Hi Dan. I had the same car as yours with FMIC, VXR injectors, 3" Ferrita down pipe, 2.5" Ferrita cat back, 3" Snabb intake pipe, forge turbo actuator, forge turbo recirculating valve and Stage 2 MTE map and later Stage 2 custom map approximately 350bhp. I did 55000 miles without any problems. Changing Engine oil every 6000-7000 miles with Shell 10w40 and in the summer 10w60 and flushing the gearbox every year definitely helped.
