Default S40 2.0D Smoke when hot not when cold

Hi I have done a search and cant find the answer to my problem so if anybody could offer advice it would appreciated.

The problem is there is blueish smoke after the engine warms up but doesn't seam to be all the time, first time I noticed was after a 40min drive so the engine/exhaust must have been hot.

I have tried a recon turbo and 4 injectors that were 2nd hand but meant to be bench tested OK.
I also blanked off the EGR valve to hopefully eliminate it from the mix.
I found the butterfly valve on the left hand side of the throttle valve to have a broken drive and could freely open or shut as it pleased so i fixed it in the open position to see if it helped.
If I remove the oil filler cap the rev the engine there seams to be a vacuum so it doesn't look like it pressurizing the crank case.
There has been a very small amount of diesel getting into the oil for years (i believe to be from the pump)
There is a slight whistling noise under load but this has been for many weeks before the smoke and probably a small air leak from the turbo hose.

I haven't been using the car since this started as I didnt want to fill the cat and dpf full of oil/diesel, I was able to run it @2500 rpm for 30min last night with no smoke but when I tried the car today it smoked again after driving 10mins.

I am going to try driving it more to see it the burns oil and if it can clear the smoke, just thought i'd ask here if anyone had seen this problem.
