Last night decided to take my projectors out so I could check and clean them before making a decision on buying retrofitlab replacements.... The lenses were a little misty but cleaned up very nicely and the reflectors weren't in too bad a condition...... Big improvement in the dark this morning on my commute..... Just saved myself a good few quid....

Tried to take apart the headlight to give a bit of clean to the projector. All good until the screw in the image, there is NO way to be able to remove it. The screw goes as far as the plastic in the image.
That's it, I gave up.

did you try to move horizontal adjuster max towards one side? I needed like 11 turns to point the projector horizontally towards one side of the lamp and then it IS possible to remove this screw.
trust me, did it 4 times already and I vouch its possible :P

Well, finally I did it. I used the soldering iron with a thicker tip to make a nice and lovey way out of the screw, without forcing anything. Have to be very careful with 250℃ soldering iron in that area.
Was not any dust on it, just a tiny bit of.... let's call it dirt.
