From 03/01/2018 to 01/06/2018 makes 5 months, not 6, or am I missing something?

I know this was a while back but I notice you ordered from Birmingham - same here, how was your experience in terms of handover, and how long between it being delivered to the dealership and you collecting it? Mine's due there on the 20th, I'm trying to work out roughly when I can go get it!

If you have got your car from David I'm sure you will have a good experience. I just wanted to be in and out as quick as possible.

Hi all,

I ordered a XC60 T8 Plugin one week ago, and I’m wondering when I should receive the car. From what dealer said should never be less then 6 months.

I have some questions/thoughts:
- Anyone knows what means: “car is in waiting list to have a slot”? Seems some stage before having any information regarding production.
- Anyone knows if delivery waiting time in T8 is bigger than other models? And that could be due to some parts availability? Or expected waiting time is the same for all models?
- And anyone in the same situation (recently ordered T8 in Europe) with some more dates info?

Update on mine...

Ordered: 27 May
Scheduled build: 18 August
Factory completion: 20 August
Scheduled delivery: 28 August

Was an amended order the dealership had placed and was already in the queue, if that helps.

Delivery slots for orders placed now are around December, I’m told. R Designs and T8s, add a few weeks.

Ordered XC60 MY19 T5 Inscription on April 11th.

Delivered to dealer July 25.

Will collect next week, only slight glitch is that Polestar is about to have new version (V29?), so dealer cannot install until released in 3 weeks.

Ordered my XC60 Momentum Mid June so not going to talk to Audi just yet about return of my Allroad
It should be 5th December but based on these posts I might have to go for contract extension rather than shortening as was the plan
