The wipers on Volvo's are curtanly more useful than the one's that just squrt a bit of water on your headlights, I had a few dirty trips on the M5 in spray and fog in the old 440 and when I looked at the front there as a nice clean ark across the headlights.

I'll be keeping mine for the time being but I understand why some people take them off for the clean look.

Looks cool. Where can I purchase a similar grille for a S70?

And does anyone know where I can get one of those spoilers that go along the top of the back window on the S70?

Ant.

That's almost exaclty what I've done to mine. I bought new panels for under the headlights without the cut-outs (£15 each from Volvo) but that's because I'm anal!!!

Looks good!!!

I my opinion the wipers cause more grief than cure. They always break and stick in the middle of the headlight, they don't wipe dried salt off very well anyway and they spoil the look of the front end. They just look too 'stuck on' for me.

There are quite a lot of new cars emerging now looking " unfinished" like the Citroen C1 for example ...
^^^^^ it may be that were the wipers are now no longer there, the gap between the headlamps and the bumper looks bigger than it needs to be.

personally i like it, i have a real thing for the smooth, minimalist look on a car.

good effort mate.
