Default For sale: 1993 240SE

I've got a 1993 240SE which I've had from new. Although I dearly love it, the time has come. It has 181,000 miles on the clock and is in good condition for the year. Only issues are a slight dent on the tailgate and the failure of the petrol gauge. MOT and Tax until end of November, full service history.

Really I need some advice. If anyone would like to buy it, that would be great. I was thinking of asking £399. I've never sold a car on the web, much less a Volvo. Is that a reasonable price? Is there anything else I should be doing? Comments welcomed,

Peter (in Canterbury)

That is a very nice late model & at that asking price I'm sure you'll get a sale fairly quickly

Why 399? Is 400 too much?

Hi Peter is it a manual or auto 2.0L or 2.3L,Also just because I'm interested(nosey)has it got ABS(Antilock Brakes) fitted as most haven't but I have a "K"reg that is fitted with it.It can be identified by looking just behind the battery,It's a BIG square aluminium lump with lots of steel pipes coming out of it.In fact an engine shot would be good if possible,We do like lots of photos of other peoples cars.
Regards Brian.

Default Brakes and gears

Hi

Its a manual five-speed, doesn't seem to be anti-lock brakes though (But they defintiely work!)
