  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Both the pipes are hot whatever the temp setting is set at

thats right there is no tap in line , but HOW hot when there is luke warm air coming out with the fan on fast??

Just been and tried it again to make sure the fan is on full temp is on max the air is cool coming out the vents both the pipes are really hot.

that indicates the air mixing flap is not opening , can you hear the servo motor whirring if you alter the heat temperature from cold to hot?

Yes, when you alter it you can hear it moving, I think everything is working on it.

well the heater radiator cant be blocked , you have plenty of air flowing i assume? Is the pollen filter blocked ?
There are two temperature flap motors , left and right do they both whirr ?

The motors might be ok but are the flaps working , take the motors off and the spindles on the end of the flaps should rotate about 1/4 turn ...

If both the pipes are burning hot the air cant be going through the heater radiator ...

I will have a look tomorrow and take some bits off it’s starting to get dark, sometimes it comes through nice and warm but will repair that sensor as well as it can’t be helping anything but thanks all for your help and will let you know how it goes.

Just ordered the new thermistor if anyone needs one in the future I’ve ordered it from digikey, there are not many of tases about I looked everywhere last night and they are coming from America as I couldn’t find any of the glass ones, should be here Friday so will let you know how it goes and if it sorts it.
