Anyone know if there is a usb option for connecting to a prins vsi ecu ? I have the serial interface but am struggling to get the laptop I have to see it through the pc card. If there's no usb option then I will have to source a laptop with the right 'hole' in the back.

All LPG systems and many other things that need connecting to a computer work much better with the serial port. For some reson USB is not fully upto the job but will work. I use a serial converter with correct driver software and this works OK but sometimes drops connection.

As you are local you could arange to come over and have the system looked at. What are the problems with it?

Bear in miond with the Prins software available to the public it is read only and you can not change any settings.

If you want to do it yourself then best way is to buy teh adaptor.

Well, I bought a second hand kit from a s80 t6. Finally got round to fitting it all and it's up and running now switches between lpg and petrol ok etc but just misfires on lpg and seems to hunt a bit on idle on petrol.

I take it that was the twin tank kit off ebay. It will need mapping to you car. Is the cable you have the cheap ebay one or a propper prins one?

Yes, that's right. He gave me the lead and a disk. I'd be surprised if it was prins it looks a bit cheap. Would the lpg ecu cause the hunting on petrol as well ? I need to pop up and get you to sort it I think. Where abouts are you ?
