One of the big BSR Optiflow (or similar) cone filters gives a superb Darth Vader sound so yep if that's what you want fit one of those.

I was very tempted but decided not to in the end, for me a big part of the fun of owning my T5 is it doesn't draw attention to itself.

Cheers,
John

Is there such a thing as a Volvo boy racer!!! LOL

Im sure if you were to take the average age of a Volvo owner then I would probably be a boy if working on averages, however despite what I post on here racer I am not. I am really looking forward to Marham and finding out what the car will do but I still wouldn't class myself as a racer

Yes I partly agree with you there and I like the stealth of the turbo 850's, but what a T5 is capable of is not as much an unknown quantity as it once was. Most of the people who ask what I drive these days knows what the car is when I tell them, one even refers to the car as a "T5" and not an 850 or otherwise. But I have to confess I do like the sound and don't think it will harm the stealth approach of the car by much

I only thought the locals in their Escort RS turbos actually WANTED turbo noise...

Personally I like a car to be understated and discreet.

I have to agree with you there, anyone who knows cars will know it's a T5 and what it can do. Maybe I should reconsider the filter

I always refer to my car as "the T5" not "the 850", don't know why, just always have.... Sod "Fire up the quattro", "Fire up the T5"
