Hi Rick

I have some photos of the interior and exterior of my car, but am unsure how I attach them to a thread - how is it done?

It is OK, I have worked it out, but just blanked my memory card, by accident!

I will take some more tomorrow.

Gary

Smile Updated interior in Phase 2 model

Hi Rick

I have some photos of my interior, showing the repositioning of the window switches and the ashtray, plus the new style of control knob's on the heater panel.

There are not many updates, and they are quite subtle.

I put a couple in of my car too, but it needs a fresh coat of polish, after the crap weather that we have had to endure this winter.

Roll on February, so I can clay bar it and get the polishing machine out again!

Hope you like the pics.

Gary

Thanks Rick

It did look shinier at the end of last year, but the snow has taken its toll!

I started a weekend car valeting business, recently, as I have been cleaning my own cars for 25 years and everyone always comments on how clean I keep my cars, so I thought, "why not do it for others and get paid at the same time?".

The leather is due for a clean and recondition, at the end of February and I also want to dye the driver's side bolster, as there is a little bit of wear on it just now.

Just fitted a reversing camera to the car, which connects to my new stereo - works great!

Gary

Cool Camera pics

Hey Rick

Here are some pics of the reversing camera.

Not much to see, as it is all neatly tucked away, inside the boot lid.

One AV cable to the ead unit, one wire to the reversing light, to power the camera and one wire, also from the reversing light, to auto switch the camera screen on, in the head unit, when reverse is engaged and off again, when taken out of reverse.

I ran the cables from the boot lid, into the plastic clip that holds the power cable for the numberplate lights and central locking, so it will not snag on the hinge mechanism.

All the wire is hidden behind the trim pieces and cable tied under the dash.

Camera has 120 degree field of view, so there is little chance of someone walking behind you without you noticing. Also has LED night vision built in, too.

I got a couple of walnut trim pieces on Friday, from Technician, so added the pics of them too.

Hope you like. Sorry, picture 3 is a little shakey!
