Had paperwork through telling me my request to put the plate on retention has been accepted and been given a replacement tax disc and mot certificate with the original reg on it . . . only await the ammended V5 certificate . . . been led to believe I should get this late next week . . . 18th/19th October hopefully

V5 has arrived (showing the original reg) along with a matching tax disc and mot certificate so the car is ready to go!

Looks to be dry on Saturday morning so will be out there first thing to swap the rear bumper over as that really is the last thing that needs doing for the car to be as good as it's going to be.

In answer to a question I have had - the leather seats are not heated.

I forgot to say the car has had a recent new battery - I drained the old one at least twice leaving the parking lights on - I learnt never to use the parking lights for anything but parking!

I'm about over the weekend if anyone wants to view the car. It wont be a wasted journey of you are looking for a genuine car.

Looks in good nick Clive. Fairly low mileage as well and FSH.

£1000 is a cheap price.

Put in perspective thats about £500 cheaper than a set of winter wheels/tyres for an XC60..!!

Will make a good buy for someone.

Thanks, without the sport lux bits on it I have to admit it's a cracking good car for £1000.

To be honest I like car shopping (prior to this Volvo I had 5 cars in just over a year) so when a change in circumstances meant I was doing more miles it was the perfect excuse to change cars again and get a diesel. I was considering several cars including a diesel V40 but ended up with a 2004 Seat Leon 1.9 TDI (130bhp) SE. It's a fantastic engine and the car's not bad.

Replacement bumper fitted today and gave the car a clean so it's ready to go!
Replacement bumper a big improvement on the original one which had nasty scrape on it. It's going on eBay on Sunday (but it now £1325).

£1300 as it stands, discount available as follows:
£200 discount with 15" alloy wheels (4 matching tyres with excellent tread)
£50 discount with standard chrome grill
£50 discount with original headlights/indicators

Dependant on who buys it and what spec they choose I will have some standard or sports lux bits to sell on in due course.
