Hi Cookie, I just had a SRS warning light diagnosis done and it seems that the "contact reel / airbag contact wheel / clock spring wheel" below my steering wheel is throwing up a few fault codes. (i did recently change my steering wheel without taking a lot of care of this item - I thought it was to work the self cancelling indicators - Doh!) If you can get yours off, centre it and tape it in position, i guess it will be of use to me.

will see if I can get it off, I will cut off the little metal push on clips, as otherwise the trim can break trying to remove the clips

there are a few surface marks - has the 4 door strips, gear lever suround, and glove box bit in the piano black, has just a standard grey gear knob (would you want that as well?)

will see how hard to get off, will see what I can get off in morning, and get back to you

gear knob and surround has previous been repaired, have got the insert out of knob (slightly marked) but the rubber around it disintergrated, and the gaiter has been glued to the surround as lugs have been broken, will see how door trims come off, then its up to you, would be a tenner inc Postage for whatever there is

will PM you pics when I have removed it (spent the morning removing tow bar.)

Cookie, my thanks again. Not only for your help with the parts, but also for the advice and detailed info on re-fitting.
You are a champion bloke.

Will stick up some pics if interested, wheels fairly good condition one has bit of curb rash and small notch on one spoke bit, one nearly new budget, one just over legal zv5 and 2 crap tyres that have cracking,

60 quid, may be able to courier by pallet at cost of courier and couple of quid for clingfilm to wrap

Please note, I prefer to describe worse than is, rather than over hyping, and people being dissapointed
