I don't think he carries all the stock that's advertised and when not in stock he seems to just ignore folk and send it out when he gets it.

Unless it's something specific that he only sells I always use Brookhouse who are totally the opposite with their level of service. Simon and Darren will happily source parts for me from Europe or other places as well. Simon has got me parts from Robert's (123GT) dad a couple of times for my 142.

I had a similar issue some time ago. The parts eventually arrived, but not good if your car is off the road and need them urgently. I only use Brookhouse now. Brilliant service.....

Brookhouse are top notch, every single time. Great communication, parts are good quality, delivery is rapid.

I also rate PFS although they don't really do much Amazon stuff. Had a very large amount of stuff from them for my 240 and C70.

It wouldn't be so bad with Classicswede if he at least put lead times up for parts and kept in contact throughout the transaction. The wall of silence and also taking money for parts he is not in a position to ship are completely unacceptable.

I’d tend to agree with most of the above comments, but would stop before total condemnation; he may be having probes we don’t know about. I would certainly ask him, at next contact.
And yes, Brookhouse are the real deal, every contact with them is positive.
