  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Getting rid of the spare wheel wells....

Hi

has anyone got rid of the (in my opinion, ugly) spare wheel wells that rot out and hang down like a couple of unsightly flabby bits.....

Volvo got rid of them on certain models. The 242GT and 262C had flat sections instead, with different mudflaps.

Ah, that's interesting - I can see the benefit of them but it does nothing for the lines of the car...and it's cheaper than getting the repair panels!!
