XC90 Geartronic Transmission Noise

Bit of a strange one this, well for me anyway!

When lightly accelerating (think economy mode) and then lifting off slightly I get a noise that is like a short rasping sound its only for a second and occurs once or twice in succession.
Occurs at various speeds upto 35 mph, seems to occur more often in the first 20 mins of driving. I can repeat the cycle normally. When I've been on an extended run (motorway) can't get the sound to appear

XC90 D5 185 geartronic 20k miles

Any thoughts greatly appreciated, before the trip to the dealer!
