Always go for the genuine electronics and take it to dealer to get towing module enabled.

As for the nuts and bolts of fitting that’s normally straight forward a swan neck bar that doesn’t require a bumper cut is often easier.

I am not planning to keep this car for very long hence looking at the cheapest option to install towbar on it.Did anyone here do the bypass relay option? What is the whole story with regards to orange cable?

I don't think many on here would settle for the bypass relay. It's not just about the Volvo trailer light module it's about all the different software that gets loaded at that time - such as trailer assist on newer models and other things like disabling the rear flog light and parking sensors when a trailer is coupled....

All done within 2 hours including wiring. Nice and easy job.total cost £110

the best way to add a cable in is via an 'add a fuse cable' search ebay, they are very cheap, they just plug into an existing fuse socket whilst also leaving space for the original fuse

Default Advice needed on towbar figment.

I currently have a 68 plate (2019) V60 D3 momentum. Can I ask the advice of ...... will a tow bar from a 2015 V60 fit my vehicle?
