I tend to put mine on the suspension wishbone bolts to the chassis. Near the rear of each front tyre.

I do the same, the axle stand sits nicely under the bolts/plate where the wishbone bolts to the chassis.
I have a Halfords 2.5T hydraulic jack and have to raise the car quite high to get the axle stand under this point but once in the car is very stable.

I use a 3T trolley jack to lift on the wishbone bolt which goes into the chassis (using a hockey puck on the end) and put the axle stand under the sill in the marked position. I tend to try and use this for all my cars (so not just C30 specific).

There is plenty of room for trolley jack and stands wither side of it on the subrframe. You'll either want flat topped stands or to use a block of wood to spread the load over cupped ones though.
SOmething like this: but with stands not trolley jacks. I use Motamec Low Rise ramps to get the car off the ground enough that my trolley jack (also Motamec as it happens) can be passed in from the front and jack in the middle of the frame. |
