Having looked around on YouTube and reviews, I'm happy the K1s is not top of the pile for quality of picture but I'm happy enough that it is clear enough to be used in the means they are needed. I know the sound is garbage but I'm unfazed by that as I would only turn the volume off anyway. The reviews from techmoan state the picture is of decent quality with videos on YouTube to show that ( even though YouTube compresses files). I had a blackvue once and loved it but it eventually gave up the ghost after 4 years and 3 cars, and 1 poorly installed windscreen sadly.

Overall, I'm happy that the k1s is what I want in a "hidden camera system" with the slight compromise on video quality, not that I think it's anywhere near as bad as some people say. Have a look from 9 minutes onwards...

Good enough for what I want. If blackvue did something as discrete and a 2 channel setup, it would have been a no brainier really.

Back to the original post, that looks a great dashcam especially if they are using a Sony chip and 170 degree viewing angle, thats almost pillar to pillar. I like the bluetooth viewing on a mobile device but the price is tad steep for me.

I already have a front mounted cam but just bought this for the rear.
