Red face Issues with the in Car 'Entertainment' System!

Hi All!

Firstly, i hope this is the correct place to post! This is my first post so apologies that i'm heading straight in with a problem

I'm honestly not sure how this issue arose as the system was working perfectly this morning and now does not...

Upon starting the car i'm greeted with the Volvo logo (ok) and then a blank screen. I can see the heating control temperatures both left and right and the radio is playing. Eventually the radio screen slowly loads in various sections and is fine to use.

However, when i press either MEDIA or TEL (phone) nothing happens? The display in the top right corner for phone signal does not show either. It's asif the car all of a sudden has only a radio feature and nothing else.

I tried inserting a CD into the drive in order to jog the media section to start doing something, however, nothing happened at all. Not only that but the eject button also does nothing... the CD is now stuck in there.

Any advice on how to get the system restarted etc? Seems like a software problem. I have had the car on and off maybe a handful of times since it started and it boots up like this every time. Maybe if i leave it over night and cross my fingers it will sort itself out?

Car is a V40 D2, 2014. I've had it 10 days. The dealership are willing to look it over but not until next Friday!

Sorry for a long post and any help at all is much appreciated.

Regards
Dan

Out of interest, whereabouts is the CCM multiplug located?
