Default Swirl flap d5 injector removal?

Quick question, i am replacing the air inlet swirl arm assy today, do the injectirs need to come out to get the rocker cover off?

YEs, if there not carboned up it will be easy,

Don't forget new copper sealing washers.

Take your time, spray them with carburettor fluid, pick at the carbon, rotate them, get a specific injector puller. They will come out eventually.

Could I ask where you got your replacement swirl flaps and a rough cost of them? Mine a broke a long time and keep meaning to get them replaced.

Volvo only. Needs a gasket and and arm. All in approx £100, approx 18months ago when I bought them last.

One of my injectors doesnt seem to be seating correctly. Is there any way to force them down a bit? New washers etc used

Are you certain that the new washer is the correct thickness?

i bought ebay item 201795359414 £150 there is one on there slightly cheaper..

Volvotradeparts are cheap. and good delivery too.

Id buy from them again and again, because, they are a Volvo dealership..... only.
