28yrs old here and my D3 SE Premium is to be collected in exactly two weeks today.... Not that I'm counting down the days or anything. She even has a name, quite sad I know!

Especially a D5 Geartronic SE (2wd) with 215 bhp.. he he.
Just got its first service, with the added comments.. This one goes very well, Sir! Oh well, the enforced retirement might mean that I have to drive it less, I wonder how thick the paint is, will I work my way through if I polish it every week? (Not such a silly question, I used to visit, regularly, a sheltered housing scheme in Norwich, where there was an almost immaculate Ford Sierra 4WD estate. It would have been concours, apart from the fact that the red paintwork had really been polished right through to the primer in places. I never realised how much of a gloss you could get on grey primer, with determined waxing!).

It just feels more powerful than the officially stated figure.
The UK nomenclature may be confusing, they mix BHP (Imperial) and Nm (metric.) In Oz they tell us that the D5 engine is 151 Kw power output and 420 Nm torque.

still seems different to the UK spec as you say 2WD with the D5 - I am sure that the D5 is only on the AWD?

From what I've read from the Volvo blurb suggested that the nonclamenture was to be standardised globally from T1, T2,T3 up to T8 similarly D1, D2 to D8. So higher figure equals more power no mdntion of awd or fwd.
