Default Help wanted - P1800S GBH 19C

Hi.
White Volvo P1800S Reg: GBH 19C

This is a genuine post!

My father owned the above vehicle in the late 80's. He recently passed away and whilst cleaning out his belongings i have come across the following from the car:

Original Instruction book
Warranty & Service Booklet dating back to 1965 showing early services
Blaupunkt radio manual
Volvo wallet for above books

I would like to find out who the owner of this vehicle now is and post the above to them so they can be reunited witn the car.
The car did have some tv fame in the 90's (after dad sold it) and from memory it was on an antiques/house restoration programme.

If you know who owns the car please pass them my name and number and ask them to contact me so i can post items.

Hi,

If you contact Gordon Hunter, the Club's 1800 register keeper he will know if the current owner is a member and would be able to put you in touch.

Gordon can be contacted on 07962 720805 or email Gordonhunter@talktalk.net

Good luck,

Paul

Try asking Kevin Price of the Volvo Enthusiasts' Club. He may be able to help.

Google GBH19C and you'll find a picture of the car with:

"Manchester Trafford Centre Event City The Footman James Classic Car Show 22-9-13 Car parks".

Try contacting the organisers of this show?

There's a white P1800S that trundles around Stockport, but I can't remember the registration of it.

I'll nip out one evening in my Amazon and see if that draws him \ her out so we can eliminate it from the enquiry.

I've emailed the people who organise the footman James event.

No luck through twitter.

Fingers crossed.

Hello to the original person that started this thread. I was the owner of GBH 19C a p1800s back in the mid to late 80's. I moved to California in 1989 and my Father sold the car for me if I remember correctly in 1990. I used the money to get started here in the USA. I loved that car and miss it to this day. I own a couple of Older Mercedes now. A 68 and a 72. I was browsing the web the other day and found your post on the forum. Small world. If you have any pix I would love to see the car again.
All the best John.
Ps. I see your from Hertford. I use to live in Stansted Abbotts right next to you
