Ditto. Fitted Nokian Weatherproofs back in late October. Done 9k since then and very happy with them. Whilst I will watch the 'Nokiagate' news story with interest, until there is evidence they have misrepresented the data on the new Weatherproofs, I would happily purchase again. Very recently, the Michelin CrossClimate has been made available in the 235 R17/18 SUV profiles, and this (like the Nokian) has also received excellent reviews. Check Mytyres and Oponeo and the 2015-16 season reviews - also tyre noise and wet grip and economy ratings - before you purchase. Some Premium brands are not so good when you compare them.

Interesting thanks: not listed in those sizes on the Michelin UK website. I will give my local Costco a ring.

I had read somewhere on the Forum that they were, but having just checked Oponeo, they are not there. Perhaps they will arrive in time for the next winter season.

Costco told me recently that they aren't expecting 235/60/18 in the Cross-Climate until around June 2016.

Probably 2 to 3K left but no more. But are you on the stock 2015 factory fit Pirellis? And are you 2WD D4 or something else? Either or both of those might account for the difference...

Just to add my voice to the mixing of summer and winter tyres question....
Anyone who tells you that mixing them is okay must be joking. I know folk who penny pinch and only mount the winters on the front wheels. Under braking, especially on bends and going downhill, you will have the back kick out, for sure. Mixing these two different tyres is the practice of folk who are just getting by with bargain basement cars and really tight financial budgets. Anyone that can afford to own and run an XC60 has sufficient funds to even buy a set of four cheap winter tyres. I am not sure the insurance company would be best pleased either. Regards, Arianne
