I don't understand that..........the Polestar upgrade provides more torque across the entire rev range and a longer peak.

How is that not better for towing?

re Toys, the reversing camera is pretty close to being a survival aid, unless you are a reversing genius. Also useful for aligning the tow hook with the trailer. You may be able to get one to add to the car but check with the Volvo dealer.

Totally agree. Reversing down a snow-covered hill last weekend was an absolute doddle with the reversing camera. Without it I would have been very nervous.

It's strange, cos I've always found the picture you get on a reversing camera to a bit unnerving due to the lens distortion - I'm not saying you can't see what is going on, it's just like when you look through a front door spy hole type of effect.........

Not as exaggerated as the spy hole on a front door, but hopefully you'll understand what I mean.

If not, this post just makes me look like an idiot.........

Just make sure the lens is clean. It makes all the difference.

they havent got many within my budget, but i guess they are more expensive due to being sold from a main dealer

More expensive due to being usually a better package than offered elsewhere Quoted from their website
We select only the best available cars. We improve them through Volvo approved checks and then make them even better with the latest software upgrades. The package is completed with an extensive warranty, including MOT Test Cover, roadside assistance, and even a 30 day exchange promise to guarantee your satisfaction
