Guys, what's the best engine to go for, that will give the best fuel economy round town, if I'm correct, the D4 is a 4 cylinder and the D5, 5,

I did not know that
Does the D4 AWD suffer from the EGR issues.
Current car is out of 3 year warranty (end of year) so have to make a decision on what do.

Keep it and hope nothing breaks (High chance something will 2 X EGR , 1 X VOC Error's)

Sell it and buy a newer version but do not fancy getting a car that has a known issue EGR faults.

Hence the question on D4 AWD 5 pot

You need to drive them. D4 AWD if you have automatic is 6-speed. FWD is 8-speed, which many consider a great improvement. D4 FWD is similar performance to D5 AWD. D4 AWD is slower. This may or may not be important.
