Default S90 R-Design - Front sensors

Hi all, new to this forum but a repeat Volvo owner.
I've just taken delivery of a 2018 S90 R-Design and it came with rear park assist, so the rear sensors buzz as expected.
There are front parking sensors on the car but they don't appear to work, my question is if they can be connected to work, or do I need to activate them somehow?
Thanks!

They're not fitted as standard so you'll probably have to pay to have them fitted/activated (was a £360 option or something like that) - I expect they have the lenses built into the bumper regardless.

I got them from the factory and they work ok, come to life even under normal driving if you get too close to something (my old Yeti had to engage reverse first and stay at low speeds). I do think the Volvo sensors are a little slow if you're maneuvering quickly though! Mine often go from "on" to "red" pretty rapidly.

Hi,

Did you spec them with front sensors as I had to spec mine as they'e not standard? Otherwise I believe they just come on

You would think they would be on such a big car. Hope you're liking your motor

I didn't spec the car with them so that's why I'm surprised that they are there. Still trying to get used to the size of the car but I really like it. No niggles (yet)

Are you sure the sensors are actually in place or is it just the "positions" that are moulded jnto the bumper.
