PV: Inside the boot...

G'day Folks,

Perhaps these newbie questions will dry up - perhaps not

If you're all getting fed up with this constant barrage of new threads perhaps I should ask the moderators to move my build thread over to this section?

Anyway - this one's about the inside of the boot =>



It has been "blessed" by someone with a paint brush and probably a tin of Hammerite

No big deal - at least it isn't rusty



But


It does beg the question - what should it be like?

Would the inside of the boot normally be in the same colour as the body colour or would it have originally been a different colour from the factory?

The cardboard sides and the mat (I think it is a mat not necessarily carpet) are the finishing touches - I'm stressing out about the colour of the paint on the metal within...

Oh yeah forgot to say - lots of pictures on the interweb show the inside of boots with the same body colour on the insides

This, however, may not be period correct

In the Land Rover world we talk about "rivet counters" - the anal few who know exactly what is factory correct...

...I'm looking for the factory correct information.
