Well it has been bought.
I drove it back and it seems to go a lot better than the owner made out.
I have checked and the swirl flap connection to the actuator is hanging off and when connected just falls off,
Fault codes are:_
P0234 Turbo overboost
P0404 egr control circuit
P0409 egr control circuit
P0101 MAF fault Air flow
P0204 intake Manfield restriction
P1553

No mention of dodgy injectors.
Personally I think most of these faults are linked to the swirl flaps.
Their is no smoke when running or idling and when on boost it is clear.
What is everyone thoughts on this?

On a further note it leaves my sons 52 reg D5 S60 standing and after he had a go he reckoned his has more issues.

Any update...
My own D5 has developed a slight misfire, the swirlflap connector had broken and now it's back on but its still a little bit rough and burning more fuel than normal.
I should add it has very nearly been to the moon. Just clicked 235k miles this week. (The moon is 238k miles away according to Alexa.)
