Default 1st sighting

I've just had my 1st definite sighting of an XC60, I've had a couple of maybes but today I actually followed one for about 4/5 miles along the A259 coast road between Seaford & Eastbourne. It wasn't a local car, had a Parkside Volvo sticker in the rear screen, not sure of the exact colour but probably a grey, could have even been a Denim blue, which can appear grey in different lights.
Anyone been on that road today?

I have stopped counting them now. I keep tripping over them everywhere, lost my exclusivity.

Saw my first XC40 today, a darkish red colour with black roof and sills. Looked smart.

I guess depending on where you live and how far you travel, will dictate how many you get to see. I do see alot of the previous models around, many having been registered since last September 2017. My Peugeot 407 Coupe is quite a rare car, in the fact that in the 7 years I've owned mine I could probably count the one's I've seen on one hand.

Wow!. They must be selling slowly on the south coast! There is rarely a day goes by when I wont see one or two and that is not counting the 2 that live on my estate.

XC40s, though, I am up to about 3 on the road so far, then one in the dealers which I guess doesnt count and quite a few on transporters on the M180......

The dealer sticker is the first thing I take off the car as soon as I get home.

How dare they try to use my car as a free advertising hoarding!!

You don’t mind Volvo advertising on the back then or do you remove it also.

I too don't like the dealer stickers especially on the glass. Luckily, my dealer didn't do this on my XC90, but he conveniently placed their URL at the bottom of the number plate.

I too would remove the sticker if fitted but I usually get the dealer name on the number plate. I really don’t think it’s that important whatever they print.

I’ve thought about debadging cars over the years and then I saw a couple and just though they looked like badly repaired accident damaged cars. They looked curiously and somehow suspiciously bare without any badge at all.
