Default Something missing ??

After giving the old girl a bit of a wash today after my oil change I felt something on the rear end didn't look quite right. It's like there should be a valance below the bumper that is missing on my car

See pictures to see if you think I'm right

The last two pictures are images from other 940's on the web

Yeah, there is a plastic skirt that usually gets chucked away or hacked up when a towbar is fitted.

When removing the towbar, I cut away the center part as it had a hole in it and was bent. I left the side bits and eventually trimmed them so they lined up with the mud flaps. Keeps muck from accumulating up under the bumper.

Didn't reply earlier as I only have two very late 745's which should theoretically qualify for comment!!

One without tow bar and with the lower skirt, and the other with a tow bar and without the lower skirt and what looks like there should have been one from the 'holes'. There's the answer ... thanks Baggy. Bob

Cheers, Mark
I might be wrong on this Mark but it looks like the rubber exhaust mount on the outside if the rear silencer is missing/broken too, just the way the exhaust is sitting/hanging and the fact i can't see it in the picture, although that might be down to the angle of dangle of the camera.

It does still look a little low to me as well having last week sorted some exhaust problems out. On looking first in my case all seemed ok, but the inside of the two mounts off the back box band had detached from the box band hanger where it attaches to the band and initially looked ok. The tail pipe should be fairly close up to the cut-out in the bumper. Bob
