Is v40 not basically a Ford Focus with PSA engines, maybe try looking for a Ford kit?

Sort of true but the D3 is the 2.0 5 pot volvo engine,

The hubs are differant to s40/v50 cars and there is less over hang metalwork wise on rear end so not sure a earlier kit would fit or look right if it did

As has been previously mentioned this Volvo is built on the same chassis as the concurrent Focus cars, so all the suspension components will be interchangeable.... basically the Volvo is a Focus in a posh frock and none the worse for that.

On a belt a and braces basis maybe get a print out of the suspension from both a Ford and a Volvo dealer.

If we were to be sure I can quote you for the Bilstein 'coil-over' kit for the current Focus ST and various other combinations of Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs... plus uprated rear anti roll bar.

Don.
