Jet washed and de-greased wheels, still a bit tatty, need a refurb

hoovered out and febreezed

tinkered with handbrake adjustments for better hold on 1 less click of the lever and checked no drag at wheels

hoovered out airbox and banged crap out of air filter. clean enough, put back in. found one of the vacuum pipes at the rear of air box fallen off (right side) no idea how long that's been off. reconnected

cleaned MAF

checked fault codes (confused me for a bit because Avast suddenly decided to vault my VCX drivers. set them free again, worked) - you might notice there has been substantial windows 10 updates lately, you might want to check your installs. 2 codes, 1 as expected for radio removed / 1 for bloody DDM module central lock again. orange. cleared, locks always work fine

The '07 V70 got new oil + filter @ 114,280 mi.
6,255 Winter miles made for smelly oil.

It's time for belts and rollers.

In put the reflective windscreen cover on to protect leather seats from the intense sun, then went out on the bus!

Default Horns

Finally got round to installing Hella Sharptone horns.

Easy job with the bumper off.

that looks really cool but what's the advantage just out of curiosity, are they a lot louder, or just sound nicer... ?

louder and honkier? I felt like the stock horn was a bit toot tooty.

I actually haven't had a opportunity to use them in anger on the road yet.

Bonus points at they are a nice Swedish blue and yellow colour.

honkier lol

well they do look nice, I've seen them on a scooby I go past on my way to work every day and I've wondered what the point was

I googled it and they do sound a bit better I have to admit. did you have to use the relay kit or just wire them in directly as replacements?
