Panhard Rod
I'm after a new panhard rod for my Amazon (1970 133). I've already got the bushes.
Brookhouse, Skandix etc. don't seem to sell new ones - and I'd like a shiney new unit to match my new suspension arms. Does anyone know if the rod from the 140 series car will fit? Part number is 677284. http://www.cvi-automotive.se/en/arti...ard-rod-140164 I could go for an adjustable unit, but as my car is only lowered by 30mm it seems a bit excessive. Thanks in advance. |

Cheers Dibble... not heard of them before.
They don't appear to have a Panhard rod in stock, sadly. |

Robert, did think about doing this, but my Amazon is my only car and it'd mean I would be stranded for a while.
Not good! |

Take it off Saturday, strip it off with a powered wire brush and paint with, say, Wickes metal paint in black. Leave to dry overnight and fit with your new bushes Sunday morning. Go for a drive Sunday afternoon. Cost, tin of paint. Alternative Simoniz Tough Black if you prefer a rattle can. Could be on and off Saturday with that if you start early. No primer needed with either but the tough black will go over primer. Don't use primer with the Wickes paint or it takes days to dry.
