Just let us know when you hit the jackpot. It also doesn't help that the issue and what's been done so far is spread over 2 differently titled threads. Edit: Everything is probably moot now.

Finally got round to.having a look into why the aux drive belt shredded ..
The crankshaft pulley has separated . All the new pulleys and belts (except the aux drive) are all fine so it wasn't down to one of them failing . The crankshaft pulley separated therefore opening up the gap and allowing the shredded bits to get into and wrap around the crankshaft gear for the timing belt |
