  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

The fault/solution will be whatever it will be and whilst it's great to know what's possible, it's surely better to begin with what's probable and easily doable.
Repeating the tests when the fault is present would be better still.
I don't have a problem with anyone swapping parts without testing but there's no need for a thread on it. Just let us know when you hit the jackpot.

It also doesn't help that the issue and what's been done so far is spread over 2 differently titled threads.

Edit: Everything is probably moot now.

Finally got round to.having a look into why the aux drive belt shredded ..
The crankshaft pulley has separated . All the new pulleys and belts (except the aux drive) are all fine so it wasn't down to one of them failing . The crankshaft pulley separated therefore opening up the gap and allowing the shredded bits to get into and wrap around the crankshaft gear for the timing belt
