plugs in boot
hi i am a newbie, i am wanting to wire in a tow bar and wondered if there was a connector in the boot to plug straight in . i have found a grey plug with permanent live and a green plug with about 5 wires going into it , i have checked these wires out and there is only one that has power when ignition on,(so i am assuming that is the daytime running lights) i have tried putting car in reverse and checking if any go live but no. nor fogs.
any ideas would be helpful thanks fred ps its a late 06 s80 d |

Hi,
Highly recommended if you actually use the volvo wiring kit for that. There are two sockets in the boot left hand side you plug into. Des. . .

The solution in today's cars is that when you install the tow bar, you add a control module (TRM, TRailer Module) for the electric system. It provides you with the connectors you need. It also communicates with the car, to facilitate additional functions your car may have, like anti-sway control when towing.
