Default Rejuvenating dulled light lenses on 740

Hi all,
The (Rear) lights on my 740 have gone dull with age. Was tempted to buy new, but wanted to try and improve my old ones first.
Seem to remember there was a blog on this topic a while ago .. but I can't find it now. Any tips or directions (to that blog ) anyone?

Thanks in advance

There are some tips in the FAQ. I haven't tried them yet.

EDIT: I've just seen that you said REAR lights and not headlights so you can ignore this.

Tamaya do a clear red (if that makes sense), lacquer which refreshes the lenses a treat. Just wash them first and paint onto the outside, bear in mind it dries very quickly. Just over a quid at model shops, one bottle should do both lenses.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

ive seenit done with MR2s as they go fiercely

there is a plastic polishing compound available. using a soft polishing mop[ and the compound, you can bring lenses up a treat. its mainly used for taking out scratches from motorcycle visors.

a stop gap is to use auto sol and rub it like holy f***

must be auto sol metal polish!! i hope i can find the pictures for you
