Default '88 340 Limited Edition (1.4, 4spd), Manchester

340 Limited Edition. 5dr, 1.4 4-speed. 78k miles.
Pretty low-spec - LE seems to mean a tilt/slide sunroof and red stripes on the bumper in this case!

Mot to mid/late April. Condition is probably best described as scruffy, but it's all there and on the road. I'll let the pictures do the talking. It had some welding for the last MOT.

I wouldn't normally say this...but...perhaps an ideal drift shell, maybe after an engine swap? Or something to be driven in all weathers without concern? Would yield some useful spares when it won't MOT easily again.

The owner is asking £450. If you're interested, drop me a line and I will put you in touch with him.

Pictures below...!

cheers

James

shame it has been neglected that roof looks serious .
I would love those red bumper inserts for my nice red 343 if he wants to sell them ????????? The car doesn't look worse for missing them and they pull out easily ..

It also has the black vinyl by the windows on the doors like a 360.

Good spot about the vinyl!

I think it's just a car which has spent a lot of time outside, and has been used through winters. The roof rust is unusual. I wonder if it's related to it having a sunroof? That seems like a complication re: water traps, etc.

I will ask about the red trims.

cheers

James

thanks James , and if he decides to drifts it maybe he could spare the chunky 360 side trims , I cant keep the thin black ones on my 343 of the same year .

I hadn't even noticed those! It's like a baby Redline - some of the features, but a 1.4.

cheers

James

My 360 in New Zealand with a sunroof had similar rust on the roof.

That rust on the roof is the worst I've seen and 4 of the 360's I've owned have had sunroofs - got to be related though, usually just the panel rots out
