Spacesaver
I currently have the xc70 and am thinking of downsizing next year to the V40 could anyone tell me if the spacesaver spare is the same throughout the range as I have a spare one due to be binned which I would keep if it fits the V40
Many Thanks Davy |

Yes it is... assuming you have a P3 (post 2007) model.
But the XC70 jack is larger than others due to the higher ground clearance so may not stow properly in the V40. Also... If it's not already fitted you need to get the split level floor kit for the V40. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-V...72.m2749.l2649 Remember also they are ceasing production this month so there may be some stunning deals to be had on new models in the next few months.

Many of the latest Diesels seem to come with a space saver and jack etc. My MY17 D3 R Design Pro did.

Whilst Tannaton is right the D2 Momentum chassis features a different exhaust system and a chassis that will accommodate the space saver w/out the split floor arrangement. However, if you want to put the full-sized roadwheel into the wheel well you may prefer the split floor arrangement to accommodate it.
The D2 Momentum models were originally specified with smaller capacity fuel tanks, though most dealers would order in stock with the larger tanks pre-installed; it's possible WOT4's was a pre-registered car the dealer registered with the spare rather than space-saver/glue kit installed. |
